This was the second game developed for my Game and Simulation courses.  For this project we were supposed to create a text adventure game. We were required to use Random.Range and Enum within the programming. This was a lot of fun. I got a little carried away, but definitely learned a lot.

In the story, you wake up in your family home with no memory of recent events. As you explore your home you discover a little bit more about what happened in each room. There is a simple inventory system and multiple endings.

Inspiration for this game comes from different places. I’ve played a few of the resident evil and silent hill games and I’ve always enjoyed exploring the levels in games like them. For a while now I’ve been thinking about what it would be like to make a more realistic survival horror game, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to brush the surface of that game concept.
